Who We Are

When trying to find out who someone is, it’s always a good thing to start with their name.
So, we are…

Trinity

We are a people who believe in the One True God who has revealed Himself to the world as the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Evangelical

We believe in the Gospel (the Evangel–the Good News) as the heart and center of our teaching and hold it as the guide for our life together.

Lutheran

We hold to the confessional writings of the Lutheran Church as found in The Book of Concord of 1580, which contain the writings of Martin Luther (1483-1546) and others who were Luther’s colleagues and followers, and we use them as a guide in holding to the pure teaching of the Word of God.

Church

We are a part of the “one, holy, Christian, and apostolic Church” which was founded by God at the first Pentecost and is still found throughout the world.

We are also members of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, an organization of more than 6,000 other congregations throughout the United States who hold to a common confession of faith in the Word of God and a shared adherence to the Lutheran Confessions.
